Individual and collective memories about the events that have caused pain and suffering to society, communities and families, are difficult to narrate and also to listen to, but they serve to heal. The victims and their families must be heard because their voices were silenced by the use of terror. Society cannot ignore these voices and it is necessary to learn from them.

It is the testimonies of those who have lived through these moments that allow us to understand the dimension of what happened, to identify to what extent it has been possible. human beings reach when human rights are violated, when power is established under unacceptable forms of violence to maintain life and societies.
